This Privacy Policy explains how Altoclick S.L. (“Altoclick”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit www.altoclick.net, contact us, hire our services or use our application Altoclick SEO Ranking (shown on the Google consent screen as “plataforma-geekom”) (the “App”), which gives Altoclick clients SEO ranking reports based on their own Google Search Console data.
1. Who is responsible for your data
- Data controller: Altoclick S.L. (trade name: Altoclick)
- Tax ID (CIF): B64562044
- Registered office: C/ Sant Antoni Mª Claret 10, 2º 1ª, 08037 Barcelona, Spain

2. Google user data and the App
This section describes how the App accesses, uses, stores, shares, protects and deletes data obtained from Google APIs (“Google user data”). It applies only when you sign in to the App with your Google account and grant it permission.
2.1 What Google user data the App accesses
The App requests a single permission, which you can see on the Google consent screen before you accept:
- Google Search Console data, read-only (scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly, “View Search Console data for your verified sites”): the list of Search Console properties you have access to and, for the properties you choose to connect, search performance data (queries, pages, countries, devices, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position).
The App cannot change anything in your Search Console account and does not access any other data in your Google account.
2.2 How the App uses Google user data
- To show you SEO ranking reports and dashboards for the properties you connect: positions, evolution over time, queries and pages.
- To store the metrics it retrieves, so that you can see their history and compare periods within the App.
- To provide the SEO services you have hired from Altoclick, when you are a client and ask our team to review your reports with you.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to the features of the App that you use.
2.3 Who we share Google user data with
We do not sell, rent or trade Google user data. We only share it:
- With the technical service providers that help us host and run the App, only on our behalf, under our instructions and bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the security of the App and of our users.
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, only after giving you notice and with the same protections described here.
People at Altoclick only view Google user data when you ask us to (for example, to review your report with you), when it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymised for the internal operation of the App.
2.4 How we protect Google user data
- All connections to the App use HTTPS (TLS encryption in transit).
- Data is stored encrypted at rest. The access and refresh tokens that Google gives the App are stored encrypted and are never shown to anyone.
- Access to the systems that store the data is limited to the authorised Altoclick staff who need it to run the App, each with their own credentials.
2.5 How long we keep it and how to delete it
- We keep Google user data while your access to the App is active, so that you can see the history of your reports.
- If you disconnect a property, disconnect your Google account or close your account in the App, we delete the related data and tokens within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it for longer.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time by writing to info@altoclick.net. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.
- You can also revoke the App’s access at any time from your Google account: myaccount.google.com/permissions. When access is revoked, the App can no longer read your data.
2.6 Limited Use
The App’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not use Google user data, and we do not transfer it to third parties, to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
3. Other personal data we process
- Contact forms and emails: the name, email address, company, phone number and message you send us, used to answer your request and, if you ask for it, to prepare a proposal.
- Clients: the identification, contact and billing data needed to provide and invoice the services you hire.
- Job applications: the data in the CV you send us, used only for recruitment processes.
- Cookies: see our Cookie Policy.
4. Legal basis
- Your consent: when you sign in to the App with Google and grant permissions, when you send us a contact form or a CV, and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
- The performance of a contract: to provide the services you hire from us, including the App.
- Legal obligations: for example, tax and accounting obligations.
- Our legitimate interest: to keep the website and the App secure.
5. Recipients and international transfers
We do not transfer personal data to third parties except to the service providers we need to provide our services (hosting, email and cloud infrastructure), which act on our behalf, or when the law requires it. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for and, afterwards, for the periods required by law. Google user data follows the specific periods in section 2.5. CVs are kept for a maximum of one year.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), you can access, rectify or erase your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@altoclick.net or to our registered office, indicating the right you want to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever we change how we process personal data, including how the App uses Google user data. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page and, if the change affects how the App uses your Google user data, we will notify you in the App or by email before it applies.
